Each page is a beehive of images, with each image a world unto itself. The images are presented without the influence of words, creating an opportunity to simply be with what is. The intention is to be without expectation, to just merge into the flow and greet whatever is encountered with a sense of spaciousness.

Inevitably, there will be an opening, a meeting up with something that is deeply moving or beautiful, even if it presents itself in strange or frightening ways.

SACRED NUMEROLOGY

The book is consciously structured to enhance a sense of presence. With a foundation in sacred numerology, the 1008 images in the book echo the 1008 names of Shiva, and the resonance of the number 9. Nine represents completion of a cycle and the raising of understanding to a higher level. Seven is the number that invokes expanded consciousness–hence the number of images on each page. There are 144 pages in the book, another reference to the number 9.
